Women's Day
We all are so well aware that how the COVID19 pandemic affected the whole world. We all had to get locked up in our homes for months for our safety. But some people were there who had to risk their lives to protect us – “THE CORONA WARRIORS”. When whole world was in their homes, the corona warriors were serving their duties for us. Not only the doctors, nurses, hospital staffs, security forces but NGOs, corona warrior volunteers also risked themselves to serve in the pandemic. They just don’t had to go on work every day but also had to maintain isolation at home to protect their families from getting infected. Many corona warriors also lost their lives because of the infection.
That’s why our theme this year is to celebrate the untold sacrifices of our “FEMALE CORONA WARRIORS”. Women played an important role as corona warriors in this pandemic and still the violence against women raised amid the pandemic, sadly. Even the housewives worked equally to run their homes when their husband lost jobs because of pandemic. Many women stitched masks, gloves, sold vegetables to help their family financially but their sacrifices most of the times go unnoticed usually.
